About Patricia

I am an anthropologist and I was a geography teacher in Brazil. Passionate about popular percussion, I've been studying Brazilian popular rhythms for the last 15 years, since I started trading in a Maracatu group when I was 15 years old. Since then I have been teaching the rhythms of Samba, Maracatu, Coco de Roda and Ciranda in projects with children and also friends interested in learning.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the ways I learned through popular culture, with Masters, musicians and people of these rich universe. The classes are very practical and include use of language in a way that makes student learning as easy as possible
