About Ibrahim

I'm a cyber security professional who broke into the industry at 20 and progressed to a Senior Security Engineer role at 21, without a university degree. My journey has taught me that getting into cyber security isn't always about having the traditional qualifications — it's about developing the right skills, gaining practical knowledge, and understanding how to position yourself in a competitive industry.

I want to teach because I know first-hand how overwhelming it can feel when you're trying to get started, especially when you're unsure which skills to learn, which certifications are worth pursuing, or how to secure your first opportunity. I want to make that journey easier for others by sharing the knowledge, experience, and practical advice I wish I'd had when I was starting out.

My aim is to help aspiring cyber security professionals build confidence, develop their technical abilities, and create a clear path towards their career goals. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student, or someone looking to transition into the industry, I'm here to help you take the next step with a realistic, supportive, and career-focused approach.

About the lesson

My approach is practical, personalised, and focused on helping you achieve real results. Having broken into cyber security at 20 and progressed to a Senior Security Engineer role at 21 without a degree, I understand how challenging it can be to get your foot in the door.

I focus on breaking down complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, using real-world examples and practical guidance rather than relying solely on theory. Whether you're starting from scratch, studying for certifications, improving your technical knowledge, or preparing for your first cyber security role, I'll tailor each session to your individual goals and experience.

Beyond technical skills, I'll help you understand what employers look for, how to present yourself effectively, and how to approach applications and interviews with confidence. My goal isn't just to teach you cyber security — it's to help you develop the knowledge, skills, and direction needed to build a career in the industry.
