About Alex
I have been an enthusiastic scientist for a long time and this continued with me as I have studied a BSc in Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London and obtained a MSc in Chemical Engineering at UCL afterwards. I am currently in the consulting industry and work heavily within the Business/IT/Financial sectors. I am currently living in the Netherlands where I work but can offer tuition online which is usually suitable due to COVID. I have tutored for a long time all throughout my time at university offering Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths tuition up to GCSE level and Chemistry to university level. I have also worked as a Teaching assistant in the London in some primary schools.

My teaching method is based on making sure you understand how the exam works and how to tailor your studying to what the exam wants. In an ideal world you would learn for the love of learning however due to standardised testing the way in which you show your ability is marks and there is a formula to obtaining maximum marks, throughout my secondary school studies and university as well as having experienced teachers in my family I believe I have a firm understanding with how exams are made and how they want to be answered in order to get the maximum amount of marks available.
