About Jacob
I’m an Economics BSc student at the University of Sheffield with a strong academic background, achieving a A*AA at A Level including an A in A-Level Politics. Beyond my academic success, I’m passionate about helping others unlock their potential in politics. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each student’s unique style, creating a supportive space where questions are encouraged, and challenges become opportunities. For me, tutoring isn’t just about teaching politics—it’s about building confidence, inspiring curiosity, and celebrating every achievement, big or small.

My approach to tutoring focuses on building confidence and a deep understanding of political concepts and theories. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s needs, whether it’s reinforcing core knowledge, analysing key case studies, or developing strong essay-writing and critical thinking skills. Lessons typically last one hour and are interactive, with plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and refine their arguments. With a Grade 9 in GCSE Geography, an A* at A-Level, and ongoing study of Economics BSc at the University of Sheffield, I bring both knowledge and enthusiasm to every session. My lessons are designed for GCSE and A-Level Politics students and can be adapted to suit all academic abilities.
