About Kiana
My name is Kiana Pillay, and I am a South African native English speaker with a profound love for science. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology and Zoology, and I am currently doing my Honours in Food science. I have also completed courses in Biochemistry & Botany. My academic background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the intricate mechanisms that drive life and an insatiable curiosity to explore the wonders of biology.
Beyond my formal education, I have always had a natural inclination for teaching and mentoring. During my time in school, I found great joy in informally tutoring my friends, helping them grasp complex biological concepts and witnessing their growth and success. Now, with the increased flexibility afforded by my honours degree, I am eager to extend my passion for biology to a wider audience and assist students like you in achieving academic goals.
