About Natalie
Hi and welcome! I’m Natalie Rowan, and I’m excited to help students discover how Chemistry supports everything from human health to the environment! My Biological Sciences education at Drexel University included strong Chemistry and Biochemistry foundations, and I have 8 years of tutoring experience with K-12 Chemistry learners! I have helped students understand atoms, molecules, chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and introductory Organic Chemistry! I have supported homework, laboratory reports, science projects, and examination preparation! I particularly enjoy connecting chemical ideas with Biology because students can see how molecular reactions influence cells and living systems! My teaching style is approachable, patient, and highly visual, and I encourage students to ask questions whenever something is not clear!

Welcome to my Chemistry lessons! I create personalized sessions for Junior School, Middle School, High School, and early College students, beginning with a clear understanding of their academic level and goals! Younger students can discover matter, materials, atoms, elements, mixtures, and chemical changes through familiar examples and simple scientific activities! Middle School learners can strengthen atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, formulas, equations, acids, bases, and introductory calculations through guided practice! High School students can receive deeper support in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, equilibrium, reaction kinetics, and laboratory analysis! I connect Chemistry to medicine, nutrition, water treatment, food science, batteries, cosmetics, corrosion, and environmental processes so students can see practical reasons for learning each topic! Every student receives an individual study plan with specific targets and regular progress checks! Assignment support includes interpreting difficult questions, organizing calculations, understanding reaction mechanisms, analyzing data, and presenting scientific answers clearly! Exam preparation includes topic reviews, mixed practice, timed questions, laboratory problems, and detailed analysis of mistakes! Interactive activities include molecular diagrams, reaction predictions, chemical puzzles, comparison tasks, and student explanations! I also help students develop better revision habits so they can study Chemistry more effectively outside lessons! Progress tracking allows me to identify patterns in the student's performance and adapt upcoming lessons accordingly! My objective is to build both knowledge and confidence, helping students feel prepared when they encounter unfamiliar Chemistry questions!
