About Namita

With over 18 years of experience tutoring math, I provide highly specialized, results-driven support for students ranging from 2nd grade through AP Precalculus. My work includes advanced test preparation for Credit by Exam (middle school through high school), SAT Math, ACT Math, and college placement exams such as ALEKS. I bring a deep understanding of both content and strategy, allowing students to approach even the most challenging material with clarity and confidence.

I have extensive experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia, and I tailor each session to align with how the student learns best—balancing structure, flexibility, and thoughtful pacing. My approach is both rigorous and supportive: I hold students to high standards while creating an environment where they feel understood, capable, and motivated.

I work closely with both students and families to set clear goals and expectations, and I provide guidance, structure, and accountability within each session. Lasting results come from a collaborative effort, and I equip students with the skills, strategies, and habits they need to follow through between sessions and perform independently.

Families who work with me value not only the academic growth their students achieve, but also the professionalism, consistency, and individualized attention I bring to every session. My goal is to deliver meaningful, lasting results—building skills, independence, and confidence that extend far beyond a single test or course.

About the lesson

I don’t just help students get the right answer—I help them understand why it works so they can succeed independently. As a certified math teacher with real classroom experience, I know how to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps that actually make sense.

My sessions are structured, supportive, and results-driven. I meet students where they are, build their confidence, and push them to think critically—without overwhelming them. Whether a student is struggling to keep up or aiming for top scores, I create a personalized approach that helps them grow quickly and sustainably.

Students who work with me don’t just improve their grades—they develop stronger problem-solving skills, better study habits, and the confidence to tackle challenges on their own.

Perfect! We had previously invested thousands of dollars in large corporate SAT tutoring programs, but my daughter never received the personalized attention she needed to truly improve her score. That all changed when we started working with Namita.

In just two months of tutoring with Namita, my daughter’s SAT score increased by 150 points! Namita’s tailored approach and dedication made all the difference. Thanks to her new score, my daughter is now competitive for admission to UT Austin and honors programs at Texas Tech and Texas A&M.

Namita’s expertise and individualized strategies truly set her apart. I can’t recommend her highly enough for anyone looking for meaningful and measurable results.

Namita tutored my son in math when he was in 7th and 8th grade, until she moved. Namita is extremely patient and worked hard to not just teach the math lesson to my child - she taught in a way that increased his self-confidence! This was the biggest win in my opinion! His mental math skills improved as he worked with Namita as well, which is definitely a skill he will benefit from for the rest of his life. Thank you!!

My son was really struggling with math in general. After being tutored just a few times he had a better understanding and really started trying. His grades moved up. We are sorry to lose her do to moving, but very thankful.
