About Sarmila
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Airline Services Management at Management and Science University, and I am passionate about helping children improve their English skills in a fun and supportive learning environment.
With 2 years of experience conducting online tuition classes for kindergarten and school students, I focus on helping students strengthen their reading, spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary, and test preparation skills with confidence. I believe every child learns differently, so I carefully assess each student’s learning level and adapt my teaching methods according to their pace and understanding.
My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students build strong English foundations. For reading and speed reading practice, I use simple and effective techniques to improve fluency and comprehension. For spelling and test preparation, I provide guided exercises and easy learning methods to help students progress steadily.
I also place great importance on patience, encouragement, and clear communication to ensure students feel comfortable and motivated during every lesson. My goal is to help every child improve not only academically but also in their confidence and overall learning abilities over time.

I provide engaging and student-friendly English lessons focused on reading, speed reading, spelling, and test preparation. My teaching approach is interactive and personalized according to each student’s learning pace and level. I use simple explanations, guided practice, reading exercises, spelling activities, and short quizzes to help students improve their understanding and confidence. I also focus on building strong communication and comprehension skills in a supportive learning environment.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 1 to 2 hours depending on the student’s needs and goals. During the lesson, I combine learning activities, revision, and practice sessions to keep students focused and motivated.
I have experience guiding students through assignments, presentations, and English-related activities, with strong communication and organizational skills developed through my studies and internship experience.

Details
My hourly rate includes personalized one-to-one Math lessons designed specifically for preschool children. I focus on building strong foundations in numbers, counting, shapes, and basic problem-solving through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities.
For online (webcam) lessons, I use visuals, games, and simple explanations to keep children engaged and make learning enjoyable.
For travel lessons, the additional RM50 covers transportation and time, and I will conduct classes at your home in a comfortable and child-friendly environment.
I also offer a free 1-hour trial class so parents can see my teaching approach and how their child responds before committing.
Lesson packs (5h and 10h) are recommended for consistent progress, helping children gain confidence and improve their understanding step by step in a fun and supportive way.
