I see language as a form of expression, communication and interpretation of the world around us. I believe that to learn something new, there must be a goal with real application, exposure to content in a natural context, deconstruction of what is being studied, practice and more practice. I seek to increase the confidence and ability of my students through the practice and development of their autonomy as students. "My goal as a teacher will only really be fulfilled when my students no longer need me." - Gustavo Ruggiero
