About Dylan
My name is Dylan, I am a first year Cambridge Engineering student, I care deeply for my students' and their progress, and will work to the very best standard to ensure they are happy with their progress, as well as their results. I have been tutoring for 2 years, and have helped all my GCSE foundation students to pass confidently, and my higher students to achieve grades they were proud of. I achieved A*A*A*B at A-levels, with my A*s being in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics- the B in computer science, although I achieved an A*, almost full marks, in the independent coding project. I was also tutoring several people during the completion of these A-levels, managed to make time for them all, and my other hobbies/ social life. I take the deepest pride in knowing I have helped people to achieve their goals and progress in life, and I hope I can do the same for you too.

I have always been drawn to teaching and helping others, and applying what I believed in to my lessons. My approach has always been that understanding the concepts intuitively is the best way to achieve your desired grades, and with understanding, the application comes much easier. I like visual representations for concepts, and appreciate a story as to where concepts came from, and why we use them. I want to know why I am learning something, and my students often feel the same way. I have tutored for 2 years now, from the moment I passed my GCSEs, and even slightly before, I have been helping students to pass their GCSEs- as this is the most popular market, and the one which is the most rewarding to teach in terms of progress made. I am capable of teaching GCSE and A-level maths, although specialise in AQA GCSE Maths and Edexcel Maths. I am capable of teaching GCSE Physics competently as well, and can readily teach Python coding skills upon request. I am a first year Cambridge Engineering student, I am 19 years old, and more than happy to help/ talk if interested. I am offering sessions for an hour or more, at £15 an hour.
