About Sushant

Hey there! If you are looking for an accomplished tutor with excellent academic results and experience with university applications, you’ve found me! I am currently a 3rd year doing Engineering at Cambridge University. I also have had offers from Imperial, NUS (with full Merit scholarship), Waterloo, Toronto, British Columbia and several other universities. I am from Singapore and I specialise in teaching Physics, Maths, and French– I also received the highest grade for all of them in my A Levels.

About the lesson

OUTSTANDING TUTORING: With over 4 years of tutoring experience with more than 4 different agencies, my teaching philosophy prioritises a deep understanding of subjects, emphasising derivation to promote conceptual appreciation over rote memorisation. I foster engaging discussions, critical thinking, and a love for learning during my sessions, ensuring each student's unique needs are met. I am very flexible and adaptable in terms of what the students want from me. EXCELLENT ESSAY WRITING: Having lots of university applications experience (UK, USA, Canada, France, Singapore, EU), I also offer help with university applications, personal statements, interviews and admissions tests. I have tutored over 30+ students and helped them with essays, with offers from Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, KCL, Imperial, etc. Join me on an exciting journey towards educational excellence! My dedication to teaching has yielded remarkable results, with many past students experiencing significant grade improvements, often improving from 'U' to 'A/B' grades or achieving outstanding results, such as IB 7 points. I am a passionate, adaptable, and highly motivated tutor committed to helping students reach their full potential and succeed academically.

Perfect! Excellent Cambridge interview tutor, helped so much with answering the general questions and finding and asking applied questions with good advice on where to tighten up.

Have known Sushant through high school and college and he's had a knack for breaking down complex topics and explaining things from first principles – a skill he's put to use with his students over the years. He's pretty capable of taking his students through step by step, ensuring they bridge small and large gaps in understanding. He helped me through high school Physics and I had a fun time learning with him; grades naturally improved too!
