About Niamh
I’m currently completing my final year at Cambridge and enjoy helping students develop both academic confidence and independent learning skills. I believe effective tutoring should feel supportive and collaborative, while still giving students the structure and challenge they need to improve.
My sessions are adapted to each student’s goals, whether they want help understanding difficult material, preparing for exams, improving written work, or strengthening overall study techniques. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence over time.
I also have recent experience with university admissions and can provide guidance on personal statements, interview preparation, and transitioning to higher-level study.

I am a Cambridge finalist with a strong academic background and a supportive, patient approach to teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on building confidence alongside subject knowledge and exam technique.
I offer tutoring for GCSE and A-level students, including help with revision planning, essay writing, coursework, and university applications. I aim to make sessions approachable and encouraging while still being structured and academically rigorous.
Having recently gone through the university admissions process myself, I can also offer guidance on personal statements, interview preparation, and study skills. My goal is to help students feel more confident, organised, and capable in their studies.
