About Will

Hi! I am a Cambridge University law graduate.

At A Level, I studied History (A*), Philosophy (A) and Maths (A). At AS in addition to those above, I studied Further Maths. I completed an Extended Project for which I got an A*.

I work as a sailing instructor so have over 500 hours experience teaching with a range of people - from groups of young children to adults. I was a successful tutor at my secondary school developing revision resources for fellow pupils.

WHAT I CAN OFFER
Maths, History or Philosophy up to A Level.
Maths History or Philosophy GCSE, including Further Maths GCSE.
UCAS applications, particularly Oxbridge - I can help with personal statements, and even give mock interviews.
Help with any student below GCSE.

About the lesson

My teaching method is exam focused. The best way to achieve results in subjects such as history or philosophy is to write good essays. I know what a good essay looks and that will be the basis of each lesson. A topic that the student is struggling with can be selected, and then we can plan how to write a good essay together - it is the best way to learn the facts and to get the top marks!
