About Imraan
I once struggled with Cambridge math in high school, but I managed to get good marks by studying a lot and working hard. Once I started university, I realized that to excel in math you have to really understand what you are learning. So in my first year at UCT, I worked on building my understanding of mathematical concepts to the point that most topics come intuitively. My goal is to teach others that anyone can be good at math if you build your understanding and intuition.
Now that I'm in my second year studying a BSc majoring in Applied Mathematics and Applied Statistics, my love and understanding for math and stats is greater than ever! And I want to pass this passion on to other students.

I believe that having a solid understanding of basic concepts in mathematics and statistics is the key to excel at a higher level in these subjects. In our sessions we will build your understanding of core concpets in order to master topics that you once struggled with. My teaching style includes lots of visual representations as - contrary to popular belief - almost all topics in maths can be represented visually!
I specialise in tutoring CIE Cambridge Maths (IGCSE, AS level, A-Level) - as that was the system I was taught in.

A* for IGCSE Mathematics and IGCSE Physics
A for AS Mathematics and AS Physics
NBTs: 97% for QL, 84% for MAT
