About Nathanael
With extensive experience tutoring a range of STEM subjects and an excellent academic record from the University of Cambridge, I am exceptionally well-placed to help you achieve your goals. With me as your tutor, you can expect weekly sessions personalised to your individual needs, coverage of all aspects of the course in as much detail as required, and expert tips on how to ace your exams.
Qualifications:
BA (Hons) Biological Natural Sciences, University of Cambridge. Grade: First Class
MSci Natural Sciences, University of Cambridge. Grade: First Class. Completed a research project under the supervision of Professor David Spring, which achieved a First Class mark.
A-Levels: Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Music: A*.
GCSEs: 12 A*s, including in all Sciences, Mathematics, and English Language and Literature.
Achievements:
2020, 2021: Elected a Scholar of King's College, Cambridge, for outstanding performance in the year's Easter Term examinations.
2019: Harmer Prize, for meritorious contribution to church music in King's College, Cambridge.
2015: Keith Chisholm Award, for outstanding contribution to South Hunsley Secondary School.

Hi! I'm Nathanael, a recent Natural Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge, and a full-time tutor. With hundreds of hours of tutoring experience and a proven track record of success, I will help you reach your academic goals and fulfil your potential.
Subject Tuition
With over 300 hours of tutoring experience as both a full-time Science Mentor and freelance tutor, I am ideally placed to help you improve your grades.
From short-term exam technique sessions to long-term tuition of entire GCSEs and A-Levels, I tailor my packages to provide you with exactly the level of support you require.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in Bloom's Taxonomy. I encourage student-led learning, and I encourage my pupils to be inquisitive and delve deeply into the material. I take a diagnostic approach to subject tuition, tailoring each session to your needs. I strongly encourage discussion and open dialogue, and students find that this helps them gain an excellent understanding of the material.
Oxbridge and University Applications
Having been through the Oxbridge selection process myself, I have a natural understanding of what Universities are really looking for in an application. As your tutor, I will be available to help with any or all aspects of your UCAS application, from choosing a course and University, to mock interview preparation.
Last year I was delighted that of the students I supported through the Oxbridge application process, four received offers (3 x Natural Sciences at Cambridge, 1 x Chemistry at Oxford).
