I have worked with Sundar on a project, through which, I found his clear mind and reasonable logic. He is the kind of person who will give you clear explanations and examples when you have difficulties. And I believe he will be a good tutor with enthusiasm and rich knowledge.

Sundar mentored me throughout the year during my Materials Science Masters project based on electeode position techniques for nanocomposite coatings. I couldn’t have done the project without him. He taught me how to use all of the apparatus for my project, as well as strategies for steering the direction of the project in a sensible way. We had very useful discussions about the literature to ensure that the work we did was novel. Importantly, once I was able to run the experiments and analysis alone, he allowed me to do this which strengthened my research skills. Of course he was always on hand if I had any questions or wanted to discuss an important aspect of the project.
