About Kiera
I have extensive experience tutoring students for the 11+ and 13+ for English . I have worked with many EAL learners and students moving from schools overseas to high-tier British independent schools. I am especially equipped to help with creative writing and organising ideas in writing, since I have an MA in creative writing.
I have assisted students in securing entry to Saint Paul’s, City of London, Dragon School, Westminster amongst others, including preparation for scholarship papers.
I am a linguist as well as a literature aficionado and employ a variety of evidence-based methods that speed up language acquisition and make it more enjoyable. I have coached students to make wonderful progress ready for language A levels, GCSEs, IB, and school entrance exams. I specialise in working with primary and beginner languages, having taught French from reception to year 6 in school.
Several students received 8s and 9s in their final GCSE and A-level results, including one who progressed from a 5 to a 7 through my help with French oral after only a few lessons.
