About Sam
I am a recent Natural Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge, having studied Physics, Maths, Biology of Cells and Pharmacology, and specialised in Chemistry, achieving a 2.1. I love sharing my passion for science with others who are studying it, and helping them to grow in confidence and proficiency as curious, sharp problem solvers. I have experience as a teaching assistant on multiple summer schools, and as a personal tutor to both UK and South African students.

I offer maths and science lessons to GCSE and A Level students, making the most of my recent experience as a school student as well as my university education. I tailor my lessons to the students’ needs, supplementing the unpacking of tricky concepts with set problems. I don't just provide answers, but discuss approaches and help students find their own way to solutions, giving worked examples where necessary. I am friendly and supportive, seeking not only to enhance my students’ performance, but also their appreciation for the subject.
