About Sofia
I am a graduate of the Schulich School of Business in Toronto and now live and work in Paris where my passion for teaching French has grown even stronger. My foundation in the language started early with a Bilingual Diploma in high school where all students completed the National French Diploma (Brevet). I later pursued a five week immersive program in Québec and an academic exchange in Europe that sharpened both my language and cultural skills.
I bring to my students a blend of academic knowledge and real world fluency. I have consistently tutored throughout my undergraduate years and now in Paris I continue to share my passion for helping learners of all ages feel more confident in French. From elementary school students to adults I create a learning environment that is encouraging motivating and practical.

Sofia is very personable and made learning from her so fun and easy to understand. She's an excellent tutor and was extremely patient with me and my French skills. I loved that she catered to what I was focusing on improving but also had a structure in case I didn't know what to practice next. I'd recommend her to anybody because she's so kind and good at what she does!
Sofia was my French tutor and I had an incredible experience as she was patient, knowledgeable, and made lessons engaging and tailored to my learning style.
