About Lydia
I am a Casual High School teacher and private tutor who has been teaching high school and HSC content since I graduated in 2016. I scored high band 6's for all 4 Units of English.
I have an undergraduate in Health Sciences majoring in Speech and Audiology at the University of Sydney. I am currently studying my masters of Speech Pathology at UTS.

I base my classes and teaching methodology on YOU. What works best for you? Do you love English and want to be the best at it? Or are you tolerating it and want to get good grades while you're at it?
My general teaching outlines are tailored on what works for you, what worked for me, and what is currently being done at schools that I teach alongside. I'll go over the basics that teachers often forget to mention, such as essay structure and how to properly engage with a question.
For $60 per/hour, you'll also be paying for me to answer any questions or mark any drafts throughout the week. This is a great idea for those who want to get the most out of tutoring.

Perfect! She has been able to relate very well with our kids considering their inability to understand English, looking quite confident in her profession, studying Master of speech pathology would definitely be an add on to help recognise the weak points precisely and try to improve them.

Lydia was such an amazing help throughout my HSC experience. She offers a plethora of knowledge and support through such a stressful time. She encouraged me to take extension 2 English which was the best decision I ever made, and I still use the skills I learnt in university today. Without her I would not be where I am today and for that I’m deeply thankful!
