About Isabelle
I am a junior at Christopher Newport University, and I absolutely adore the cello. I have 15 years of classical training experience playing the cello and have taught a few students in previous years.
I have been in orchestras, chamber groups, and composition ensembles, and have experience in solo work. I want to collaborate with others to provide a positive learning environment where you can learn to love the cello, while also being observant of the technical details.

I am looking to teach new to intermediate cellists. Depending on your experience, needs, and goals, I will be flexible with lesson planning. We will focus on form, intonation, sight-reading, and other details in learning the cello. I want to help you become passionate about the cello and the beauty it holds!
Typical lesson agendas include (but are not limited to): scales, etudes, technical work, and solo work.
I can work in person, depending on how far you are from my place of residence, and online. (You will need access to zoom or google meet.)
