About Louise
My name is Louise, I'm 38 and I'm from London originally but live in Cork City. I moved here a few years ago to do a BA in Folklore and Celtic Civilization and am currently working towards an MA in Writing.
I'm friendly, creative, and approachable and my greatest loves are music and animals! I have a lovely little dog called Merlin who might appear in some of our classes if you're lucky.
I've been teaching for over 13 years and really love the English language and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds - I've taught abroad in places like Spain, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua, Italy, and Guatemala.

Hi! My name is Louise and I'm a highly motivated CELTA-qualified ESL Teacher with over thirteen years experience in delivering tailor-made English language classes to students of all backgrounds, ages and levels.
My lessons are relaxed and informal, and I like to take an organic approach to teaching, figuring out the needs of the student together with them and shaping the lessons to fit those needs. We can do anything from conversation practice to job application workshops to exam preparation.
I have experience of preparing students for various examinations such as IELTS, Trinity, FCE and TELC, and have also taken an active role in creating material for several schools and programmes.
