About Priyanka
I am a CELTA-qualified English teacher, trained at Teaching House London and awarded Pass B - an upper-grade distinction. I work with adult learners across General English, Business English, and IELTS preparation from A1 through to C1. I bring a structured, learner-centered approach to every session. I am direct, engaging, and genuinely invested in my students' progress. My learners would describe me as creative, friendly, and someone who makes challenging material feel manageable.
I have experience working with multi-nationality learners across a wide range of L1 backgrounds and that breadth shapes how I teach. I understand that where you come from linguistically affects how you learn English, and I use that awareness practically in every lesson.
Available for face-to-face and online sessions. Individuals and small groups welcome.

Every learner comes with different goals, gaps, and a mother tongue that shapes how they acquire English. My first session is always a structured needs analysis and diagnostic, I find out where you are, where you need to be, and what's getting in the way.
From there, lessons are built around you, not a generic syllabus.
For IELTS candidates (Band 6.0–8.0):
I work across all four skills with authentic exam materials, timed practice, and detailed feedback. I track your band score progress session by session so you always know exactly where you stand and what's holding you back.
For General English learners (A1–C1):
I use a varied range of pronunciation drills, cognitive load-aware activities, and creatively adapted materials so lessons are challenging without being overwhelming. I have specific awareness of L1 interference patterns, meaning I can tell you exactly why you're making a particular error and give you a targeted fix, not a generic rule.
For Business English professionals:
Functional language for meetings, presentations, emails, and reports. Industry-specific vocabulary where relevant. Real communicative tasks, not textbook role play.
How I teach:
Face-to-face or online. Individual or small group. Feedback format; written or verbal; based on what works best for you. I hold myself to the same standard in every session: no filler, no repetition for its own sake, measurable progress.
