About Jennifer

Hello, I’m Jen, an English Language teacher based in Wales, UK and I'm available for lessons in person and online.
My lessons are clear, practical and focused on helping you improve step by step, allowing you to see progress and feel more confident using English in the way that you need to.
I teach adults and teenagers, from beginners through to advanced learners. Lessons will always be planned around your level and goals, so you always know what you are learning and why.
I have a CELTA teaching qualification and many years of experience working in higher education and international business support roles. This helps me support learners with different needs and learning goals including conversation skills, business English, IELTS or interview preparation.

My lessons are clear, practical, and focused on results. I plan each lesson around your goals and learning level. We can work on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, IELTS and job interview preparation. Lessons are structured, but I adapt them to what you need so you can see progress and feel more confident.
Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes long, giving you time to learn well without losing focus. I teach beginners through to advanced learners, including teenagers and adults. I adapt each lesson to your level, confidence, and goals.
Whether you are improving your basic English, using English at work, or learning for personal interest, lessons are supportive and clearly structured. You will always know what you are learning and why.

Perfect! Jennifer is exactly what I was looking for, for my mum to improve her conversational English skills. She is so lovely and so understanding. She had fully understood exactly what we wanted to gain from these English lessons, and has made my mum feel extremely comfortable with each lesson. We are looking forward with each lesson and cant wait to see my mums progression with Jen.
- After just 3 lessons, Ghada is already showing small improvements and increased confidence when speaking during our lessons. She is enthusiastic about learning and is making time to practise between lessons. Increasing her lessons by 30 minutes to 1.5 hours will allow us more time to explore the topics and speak for longer. I met Jennifer through Superprof, and we have been working together for several weeks now. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking to learn English as a second language because she is incredibly attentive to a student's individual needs.
She is polite, supportive, and goes out of her way to help achieve the goals the student wants to reach. At the same time, she offers valuable advice and assesses the student's level through small talk at the beginning of the lesson. This approach helped us identify several frustrating mistakes in my speech, and after correcting them, I have become noticeably more fluent. Jennifer has extensive teaching experience; she is always punctual and a pleasure to talk to.We worked with Jennifer last summer on our junior English language programme located at the iconic UWC Atlantic campus. Jen is a very reliable and loyal teacher who takes a great deal of time to prepare lessons that engage her students.
