Hello! My name is Breann and I am a recent Bachelor of Education graduate from the University of Alberta. I am a certified teaching who has experience teaching and tutoring English Language Arts online with grades 4-12. I have a passion for teaching and literature and would love to meet you!

I believe that students learn best when they are motivated by the subject matter. This means that my students ALWAYS pick what book we read and study together - I provide students with a list of possible choices based on their interests and grade level to help them, but they can also propose a book to me! We read the book, discuss, and do paragraph and essay writing about the book together. I also incorporate non-fiction reading comprehension activities that are catered to student interest.
