About Chris
I've been teaching in Virginia for 22 years and have experience in elementary, middle, and high school. I am a husband, father of a 6th and 9th grader, and a big sports fan (including when my kids are playing!). I'd love the opportunity to work with your child and help them overcome any obstacles they are facing in math!

In addition to teaching for 20+ years, I have experience writing curriculum and assessments so I have a keen understanding of how to help students find success on assessments and understand math more deeply. I enjoy helping students "turn the light bulb on" when it comes to complicated concepts and figure out what skills will need repeated practice to go into long-term memory. I've worked with thousands of middle and high school math students, so I can also identify foundational skill gaps that are still slowing them down as they get ready for higher levels of math.
