About Emily
From 2011-2021, I was a dance teacher. I started as an assistant, and eventually became the organiser and curriculum writer for the studio's early childhood programme. I loved teaching, but in 2021, I decided to pursue another dream: travelling the world. I have been nomadic ever since, though I am primarily based in the UK. I have had a few teaching opportunities since, including a placement at an international school in Hanoi, Vietnam. Since completing my TEFL certificate this year, I am looking forward to even more opportunities to pursue both my love of teaching and my love of travel.

I strive to provide a fun, yet focused lesson environment. Lesson content will be discussed during the first session, so it can be tailored to the individual student's needs. I typically offer 30 minute lessons. However, I am open to a longer session if desired. I am a former dance instructor, and have also worked in academic settings as a classroom assistant and substitute teacher. I have experience working with all ages, and specialise in working with young children. During the pandemic, I taught dance classes via zoom for children as young as 3. This really helped me develop the skills necessary for keeping online lessons fun and engaging! So, whether you are 2 or 92, let's work together to make learning fun!
