About Mariia
You can feel confident knowing that you're learning from a highly qualified and experienced tutor. I hold a university degree and possess a C2 level of English proficiency. With extensive experience teaching students of various ages and backgrounds — from teenagers to working professionals — I understand how to adapt to different learning styles and goals. Over the years, I’ve helped numerous students achieve consistent results of 6.5 and higher on the IELTS exam. I’ve also successfully prepared learners for FCE, CAE, and the Oxford Placement Test. In addition to teaching certifications from IDP, I hold qualifications in pedagogical design and teaching methodology, which allow me to create structured, engaging, and highly effective lessons. My IELTS preparation method is one I personally developed and tested — first on myself, when I scored an 8.5, and now with my students. It’s a focused, strategic approach that breaks the exam down into clear, manageable goals while addressing individual strengths and challenges.
