• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn it?

  I have great passion for learning languages and it is what initially inspired me to learn German. Most people ask Me "Why German language?" I will simply say German is a unique and amazing language. Like every other language, it rules has rules you need to adhere to. German and English have cognates so it's pretty easy.

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  Johann Wolfgang von Goethe- The Goethe language Institute is named after him.

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?

  Germans have an amazing culture and they are particularly always real and genuine. The country itself with other German speaking like Switzerland, Austria, Luxemburg offers amazing opportunities.

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  First, I love the language. Asides that, German speaking countries have a lot of opportunities which most people can't get access to due to language barrier. That's why I have developed great interest in sharing my knowledge of the language with other people.

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language, and what can help students with the learning process?

  One of the major difficulties is that most people who wants learn the language are not in an environment where it is spoken but constant practice (mostly probably online) can help. Also German is a gender sensitive language, all nouns in German have genders. Most people find it difficult to relate with this. Just accept the uniqueness of the language and be determined to learn.

• Could you share an anecdote related to your language learning or your student days?

  Learning the language wasn't smooth at first, during my A1 I tried to make German friends so I could practice with them. I just typed whatever I knew and didn't care if they understood.😅😅Looking back now, it so funny but that has boost my confidence over time.

• How has travel or a specific experience helped you to increase your understanding and appreciation of the language?

  I have made a few German friends. My understanding of the language helps us communicate better and they are able to inform me about good opportunities. Also through teaching the language I have meet a lot of amazing people. German language has brought me money, opportunities limited to the language and connection. I also had a great experiences working at different language schools. All these has increased my understanding and appreciation of the language.

• What makes you a Superprof?

  I learnt the language just like every of my (potential)students so I am a great inspiration to them. If I can learn it to this level of proficiency and certifications, they can too. Asides my passion for this language, I am experienced too. I have worked at different language schools and different people including kids ,teens and adults. I have a wonderful teaching methodology and I work with what suits my students. Helping my students achieve their goals is my topmost priority. All these makes me a Superprof.
