About Anastasia
I am an Indian Yoga Federation yoga and meditation instructor (Dh. Brahmachari school), Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), a Reiki Master, a Certified Ayurvedic, and a Thai Shiatsu massage therapist, and Physical rehabilitation therapist. I am a Sanskrit scholar and spent the first years of my Yoga journey in Northern India, learning culture, and sacred Vedic texts, researching, practicing yoga, and studying at the Morarji Desai University to become a Yoga teacher. Yogic Philosophy and tradition, its “spiritual” part is the fundament for my practice and for my style of teaching as well. However, I have always been looking for a “deeper” understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and physical rehabilitation. Upon my return from India in 2013, I was certified as a Yoga Therapist and Physical Rehabilitation Specialist, gaining more confidence that I have the ability to adjust the practice for everybody and use yoga knowledge not just as a workout but as a healing practice. Apart from being a yoga practitioner and teacher, I have been a guide for those who are interested in discovering their true self through yoga retreats around the world. I love connecting with people on a deeper level, much more than the “Student-Teacher” relationship. When people join my retreats, they have this great opportunity to get out of their routine, spend time together with like-minded people, visit sacred places, have open talks, and support each other’s journeys to the Truth. In my opinion, it is one of the most transformational experiences that could divide life “before/after”. Apart from yoga practice, I love to use a set of practices to help people understand themselves better, see their true nature, and gain clarity and a profound understanding of what is this Life about. I use such tools as the Leela game, channeling sessions, sacred plant ceremonies, and open heart-to-heart talks on Advaita. In each person who comes to me, I see a wise and eternal Spirit that is manifested in this body, and my mission is that through interaction with me, they would see it too. I call my style of teaching "Purna Yoga". 'Purna translated as "complete, whole" from Sanskrit. In this practice, the fundamental aspects of yoga are harmoniously combined: asanas (sequences of poses in static and dynamic form), breathing exercises and breath control (pranayama), concentration practices (dharana), meditation (dhyana), and relaxation. This class is suitable for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of yoga practice and comprehend how it affects not only the body but also consciousness, energy, and spirit

Ana is quite simply the best yoga instructor I have had in my twenty-two years of practicing yoga.
