About Kyle
Hi guys, my name is Kyle! A martial arts enthusiast, actor, and stage and screen combat fanatic with an objective to support others, establish a community, and help you conquer your body and mind.
I was brought up in South-East London growing up with a family lacking in the creative field, and so as such someone had to be the first. I Started my Performing Arts journey at around 11 years old but officially started training in Musical Theatre in college at the BRIT School of performing arts and Technology.
Subsequently my Journey would begin to develop during final year when I had to decide what to do after college at the height of a certain virus... this is when I strafed from Musical Theatre to fighting people with swords, as soon after I was introduced to stage fighting, which propelled my interests in Dramatic Combat. Since then I have worked closely with the BADC and its affiliates, trained in a variety of combat sports, but also delved into things such as; directing, producing, playwriting, poetry and teaching, which has particularly taken over my career brain, and is something I wish to pursue indefinitely.

In my professional career I have participated in a charity boxing match for ‘The White-Collar Fight Club’, raising money for ‘Mind’ which supports mental health, something I am a huge advocate of and believe that physical sports, amongst many other flow state activities, can contribute immensely to overall better well-being. I am a certified Level 2 ‘Boxing for Fitness coach’ accredited by and received through the ‘Hatton Academy’ and tailor my classes around their principles. Additionally, I have trained in Fencing and Muay Thai, and also in stage and screen combat with an Advanced combatant certificate with the ‘BADC’.
I have experience teaching a variety of ages and levels both of which my methods are similar but as this is something I love to do, all I expect back is the same enthusiasm I will show you. I typically hold lessons between 30-90 minutes long for private or group classes.
I have taught at places from primary schools, working with children on fencing technique, to the likes of Drama schools such as Rose Bruford and Italia Conti, and for a period of time hled classes in the heart of London at Pineapple Dance Studios.
I advocate for the benefits of combat sports, and their respective counterparts, in the pursuit of supporting the body both mentally and physically, being as someone who has struggled with mental health I pride myself on demonstrating a patient and affirmative attitude to my clients, as I am also a campaigner for Mind the charity, and BSL trained.
