About Shiqing
While I might not describe myself as inherently "fun," I believe that the best way to get to know me is through our interactions during lessons. My teaching style is friendly yet serious, aimed at creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Outside the classroom, I am passionate about Tai Chi and Qigong, and I have a deep interest in Chinese ancient culture and traditional Chinese medicine. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for these topics with you and getting to know you better.

I am an experienced teacher, certified by CAPES—a highly competitive French national exam for educators employed by the Ministry of Education. With five years of classroom experience teaching teenagers aged 11 to 18, along with two years of teaching younger children (ages 4 to 10) and adults, I bring a diverse skill set to my teaching practice.
My goal is to tailor each student’s learning journey to their individual needs, fostering both motivation and engagement. I offer a range of language learning methods, specializing in interactive and creative lessons that also explore elements of traditional Chinese culture.
I offer 55-minute lessons for teenagers and adults and 25-minute lessons for children (6+). I welcome students of all levels to join me in learning Mandarin, and I look forward to supporting your progress along the way.
