About Michelle
Hi! I am Michelle, a math tutor with a BA in Mathematics and K-12 teaching certification. I believe that people are happier with kindness and hard work, and I believe that most problems make sense when approached with small, consistent steps.
Helping people through their problems in such a way that they understand and will apply later to succeed alone is one of my greatest joys in life.

My first tutoring students learned a lot from me -- but I learned even more from them. That was over a decade ago, and I have been privileged enough to share learning experiences with hundreds of students since. I have had experience tutoring Elementary Math, Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Calculus II, Calculus III, and Statistics. My favorite part of being a tutor is witnessing as my students move from confused or concerned to knowledgeable and confident. My lessons are designed to fill in learning gaps, address immediate needs, and set each student up for success.
