About Shelina
Tesol/ESL teacher online at VIPkids for eight months and tutor in Shreveport, LA going on two years now. I have a Bachelors in business, and accredited courses taken to teach English. My approach is based off content-focused and learner-centred methods. Focusing directly on the progress of the student first and using what they already know in order to make it easier for them to understand new material. An objective goal of mine is to always implement strategies that are fit for that one student, even sometimes during group sessions. This means that sometimes my approach may be critically aggressive or simpler, using more examples and visuals to demonstrates meanings.
