About Abhay
Hi, I’m Abhay Pratap Singh. I am not just a cricket coach; I am a professional Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physical Education with a deep passion for the science of sport.
My journey in cricket began on the field, representing my university twice in the North Zone Inter-University Cricket Competition (2019 & 2021). This experience at the competitive level taught me the mental and physical demands of the game. However, I realized that playing the game and teaching the game are two different skills.
To become the best possible mentor, I dedicated myself to academic excellence in sports:
Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports (BPES) from IIMT University.
Currently pursuing my Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) at CSJM University.
Professional Experience: Over two years of teaching experience, including roles at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) and Navyug International Public School.

Step-by-Step Approach to Technical Perfection
"My coaching philosophy is simple: To master any shot, you must first master the root of the movement. Many players struggle with balance or timing because they try to run before they can walk. As a Professional Physical Education Teacher (PGT), I break down complex shots into digestible, scientific steps.
My 4-Step 'Root Correction' Process:
The Foundation (Balance & Stance): We identify why you are getting unstable. Is your head falling over? Is your base too narrow? We fix the 'Root' first.
Static Drills (The Tee & Cone): We start with controlled drills (hitting off a tee/cone) to build muscle memory without the distraction of a moving ball.
Progression Drills (Drop Ball & Underarm): Once the shape is perfect, we move to drop-ball and underarm feeds to test your timing and contact point.
The Full Shot (Live Motion): Only when the defense is solid do we progress to full-speed drives and power hitting.

Technical Video Analysis: Send me your match or net footage, and I will provide a frame-by-frame breakdown of your technique.
Custom Drill Plans: Specific 'homework' drills you can do at home in the US or UK with minimal equipment.
