About Kyoichi
I am a developing professional pianist currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Calgary. I am also an alumni of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Completing both my ARCT in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy. I have been teaching privately at my home studio for almost 10 years and now wishing to expand my teaching online!

Many of my students follow the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, but I am very flexible with my teaching approach. I think its important to create a variety in the lessons, whether its incorporating games/activities or playing the occasional pop hits. I even slide in a couple composition/arrangement activities where my students have a blast! I am focused on establishing a well-rounded lesson overall from learning repertoire, honing technique, and heightening musicianship abilities.
