About Ryona
I moved to Vancouver in 2017 and graduated from the University of British Columbia with Distinction with a Bachelor's degree in psychology.
I am a native Japanese speaker, born and mostly raised in Tokyo/Chiba, Japan. I passed the "Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test" in 2023.
From 2024, I have been working at an international school in Warsaw as a preschool Japanese teacher and teaching Japanese to little kids.
I am your tutor, but I am also a "learner", who is learning something new from the students and through the sessions every day.
I am such a manga/anime lover, so it would be perfect if you love them too! Let's share our favorites:)
