About Alex
I’m Alex, an English tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, including ESL instruction abroad and high school English, Humanities, and Composition in the U.S. I see language learning as something that’s fundamentally social — something we develop through interaction, conversation, and real communication — and I bring that into my teaching.
At the same time, I have extensive experience helping students with academic writing and humanities, where I focus on helping learners find their own voice and express ideas clearly, creatively, and with confidence. Outside of teaching, I’m an active dancer and enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and being part of community spaces — all of which inform the way I connect with students and keep learning grounded in real life.

I’m an English tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years teaching ESL internationally and several years teaching high school English and writing. I work with students of all ages and levels, and I tailor each lesson to what you actually want to use English for — whether that’s speaking more confidently, improving grammar, or strengthening writing skills.
Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and focused on real communication. We’ll practice through conversation, targeted exercises, and feedback that helps you improve quickly without feeling overwhelmed.
