About Kevin
My name is Kev, and I’m not here to list my diplomas, certificates, years of experience, or even the name of my first teacher who inspired me to become an English tutor. I'm here to let you know a bit about me: I was born in the United States, but recently moved to the United Kingdom for a fresh start. As a native English speaker, I’ve experienced firsthand the richness of two of the most influential English-speaking cultures in the world. At 16, I applied to a prestigious linguistic university—all without my parents knowing. They dreamed of me becoming a doctor, but I made my own choice, forging my own path. There’s no “secret formula” for success—it’s about following what you love. Over the last decade, I’ve travelled to 47 countries ️, connecting with fascinating people from all walks of life. Along the way, I became fluent in Russian, German, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish. For me, language is alive and vibrant, like a song I can feel in my bones. When I connect with it, I find my rhythm and the words start to flow. It’s truly a gift —and I’m here to share it with you, because you’ve found your way to this page.

My lessons are not about notebooks filled with explanations of what the “Present Perfect tense” is all about. English is you and the world around you! You—and only you—should be at the centre of your language journey, and I’d love to be your guiding light to support and inspire you on this beautiful, exciting path towards mastering a new language.
