• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  Since 2013, when I embarked on my MBA journey in Finance, I have dedicated myself to tutoring students in this field. Finance has always held a special place in my heart, and my passion for the subject has been a driving force in my tutoring endeavors. I strongly believe in providing students with a comprehensive understanding of finance concepts, supplementing theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
  
  Throughout my tutoring experience, I have made it a priority to bring a practical touch to the learning process. I understand that finance can be a complex subject, and by incorporating real-world examples, case studies, and industry insights into my teaching approach, I strive to make the concepts more tangible and relatable for students. By doing so, I aim to not only help them grasp the theoretical foundations of finance but also equip them with the practical skills and knowledge required to excel in the field.
  
  The joy of witnessing students' growth and witnessing their newfound confidence in tackling financial challenges is incredibly rewarding. • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I specialize in instructing students in a variety of subjects related to finance, specifically focusing on Corporate Finance, Asset Markets, Company Valuation, Financial Modeling, Value Investing, and Investments. However, my passion for teaching extends beyond these specific topics. I also thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise in investment principles and strategies, both in the context of public and private markets. Through my instruction, I aim to equip individuals with the necessary skills and insights to make informed and successful investment decisions.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  There is no doubt that my father plays a significant role in shaping my passion for teaching, as he himself is a dedicated Mathematics professor. His profession has undoubtedly influenced my own interest in education and inspired me to pursue a career in finance. I am deeply grateful for his influence and guidance, as his passion for imparting knowledge has instilled in me a strong desire to make a positive impact through teaching.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  In my view, the essential qualities of a tutor extend far beyond simply showcasing knowledge to students. While expertise in the subject matter is undoubtedly crucial, I believe that patience and the ability to understand the unique needs of each student are paramount. A tutor who possesses these qualities can create a supportive and nurturing learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification without fear of judgment.
  
  Furthermore, the ability to understand students' requirements goes beyond mere academic needs. It involves recognizing their strengths, weaknesses, and unique challenges, both inside and outside the classroom. By developing a deep understanding of each student's individual circumstances, a tutor can tailor their instruction to address specific areas of improvement, provide personalized guidance, and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  
  By prioritizing patience and understanding, tutors can create a positive and productive learning experience that goes beyond the mere transfer of knowledge. • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I had the privilege of overseeing the management of the student fund, where I applied my skills to carefully select undervalued businesses, maximizing their potential for growth and profitability. Additionally, I enthusiastically contributed to the development of a stock market exchange specifically designed for a sports festival, showcasing my ability to merge my passion for finance with creative ventures.
  
  For me, the allure of finance extends far beyond academic pursuits. It permeates every aspect of my life, from the books I avidly consume to the tasks I eagerly undertake on a daily basis. Engaging in anything related to finance brings me immense joy and fulfillment, as I immerse myself in the intricacies of the subject matter and actively participate in its practical applications.
  
  My deep-rooted enthusiasm for finance is not limited to a mere professional obligation but rather a genuine passion that fuels my continuous quest for knowledge and advancement. Whether it is delving into complex financial theories or tackling real-world financial challenges, I find immense satisfaction in every facet of my involvement with the dynamic field of finance.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  While I believe that teaching poses its own set of challenges, one specific hurdle I encounter relates to conveying the practical realities of the subject matter to my students. Oftentimes, students ask straightforward and impactful questions, but comprehending the answers to these queries necessitates a level of practical knowledge that they may not possess at their current stage of learning. This has emerged as a recent challenge that I have grappled with.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  Investing is my passion; it is a realm in which I have actively engaged, making numerous investments over time. As an ardent advocate of value investing, I firmly believe in the power of seeking undervalued opportunities in the market. What fascinates me about investing is how it encompasses and brings together various subjects we have studied, such as company valuation, asset markets, corporate finance, and financial modeling, among others. It serves as the pinnacle where theoretical knowledge converges with practical realities, leading to a profound transformation.

• What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions:-P)?

  I possess a deep conviction in my ability to truly comprehend the needs and aspirations of my students. My objective extends beyond merely helping them pass exams; I strive to empower them to excel in their chosen careers. For each student under my guidance, I take the time to understand their individual ambitions and aspirations, allowing me to provide tailored guidance and support.
