About Chadd
I'm not sure if this is okay with Superprof to post here, but I was recently filling in as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at an online Cyberschool over the last year and below you will find my Administrator's last Evaluation for me.
This was a position that was temporary and they hired me on as an Emergency Substitute to fill a great need because the other Teacher was not able to properly connect with students. I was teaching online in Pennsylvannia from here in WA State where I live, so this was really a out-of-this-world super cool experience.
Again, I hope to be able to upload some emails and notes that I recieved from some students and parents from this great opportunity, and then you can see some other great stuff from it.
(I have edited out names of both my Adminstrator and the School for privacy reasons, and also in case it would not satify Superprof's policies)

Eric Buxxxxxxxx, 6/8/2021 , Comments:
In the lesson I loved that there was the element of students 'challenging answers' and it was built into the way the class went so it was not threatening or negative, but an expected part of the learning process!

Details
My rates depend on the time of day, not on any other factor. The rates are from $26-$46, depending on low/high demand periods in the after school to early evening hours. I also offer 1/2 hour (25 min.) rates, as some students would do better with multiple, yet shorter, tutoring periods, then the hourly rates (50 min.). The rates for 1/2 hour lessons are simply 1/2 the rate of the hourly rate.
The first lesson is, in fact, Free, and will not just be a basic and fun "meet and greet", but also a full reading and math dianostic (though your child won't know it lol), which will guide how I direct instruction going forward.
This is not my first rodeo with toturing kids ;-)
Lastly, ALL lessons will be online only and we will be using the Zoom interface, mostly because nearly everyone is familiar with it in one aspect or another at this point. I am always working to build on my Practice as a Professsional Teacher/Tutor, so as technology advances, so will I advance with newer tech tools (which is actually really fun!) in tow.
I am a committed life-long learner myself, and I am always searching for new and exciting ways to improve myself both professional and as a person in general.
I am very happy in knowing that I will never be perfect, but that doesn't stop me from working hard at it every day. lol
Hope to hear from you and let's get some EXCITING LEARNING DONE!!
- Chadd Wamboldt :-)
