About Vivek
I studied at the Latymer Grammar School in North London and have had experience tutoring many children within the school as well as those of all ages outside the working environment, individually and within groups. I can teach English up to GCSE level and core Sciences and Maths up to A-Level, which I received A*AAA in. As someone who has gone through the medical applications so recently, I am also very confident in aiding tutees with the interview, medical exams and personal statement process. I can also tutor with the 11+ and other grammar school or private school exams.

I am a current Medical student at St Andrews University and have been teaching for six years including abroad. Exams are a stressful time where students may find it hard to juggle many topics and keep up with new information, specifications show just how important exam technique is. I believe students learn best when superficially daunting concepts are broken down into small chunks of information that are easier to digest. These smaller chunks can be pieced together by the pupil to allow them to understand the inner workings of the subject. Doing questions regularly to reinforce your learning is integral, so any skills gained will be tested in exam practice to see how pupils can also apply their skills. All this will hopefully ensure that ultimately, in the exam, the pupil can remain calm under pressure using their expertise to approach all questions with confidence.

Vivek helped me with GCSE maths chemistry and physics and was always very reliable. He made sure to go through topics thoroughly, and gave me lots of resources to reinforce what I had been taught. I was always set homework and my knowledge was checked in the next lesson. I am now about to start my degree in aeronautical engineering and can’t thank him enough! He also helped me for my A-Levels and with my Engineering interviews.
His teaching style has helped me understand everything perfectly, catering to what I need and explaining concepts in several different ways to ensure understanding. As a medical student, he had a very broad knowledge over many subjects and can teach up to A-Level. I know he has also helped students enter university to Study science subjects, including many medicine students. He has also helped others in my school with all aspects of their university applications, including helping potential medical applicants become much more confident in interviews.Having taught me for both GCSE & A level sciences, Vivek has been one of the most understanding and kind person I have ever met. As well as being incredibly knowledgeable and smart, his unique learning techniques really allowed me to boost my grade as he expertly guided me through the trials of GCSEs & A levels
