About Anju
I am a chemical engineer. I have 1 year experience tutoring Calculus I and 2 years experience tutoring Chemistry I to small groups (6-10) of first year college students. I also held office hours to provide 1/1 assistance to my students.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate NY in 2017. After that, I worked for three years as an engineer in the plastics industry - so I have a good idea of why we learn these subjects and how they are applied!

I am an engineer who uses match & science every single day - and I love to share that with others! Oftentimes topics and problems just need to be broken down to their smaller parts and to review that each step is understood - the fundamentals are always key. As a tutor, I like to go over practice problems, use analogies to better understand complex topics, and make sure that every part of a problem is understood to build a strong foundation for critical thinking and analytical skills that will be used for the next topics!
