About Roop
Hi, I’m Roopvir, a Chemical Engineering student with a genuine passion for Maths and Chemistry. Having achieved an A* in A-Level Chemistry, I know first-hand what it takes to understand challenging content, develop strong exam technique and achieve top grades.
As I’ve recently been through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the pressures students face and can relate to the areas they often find difficult. I aim to make even the most challenging topics feel clear and manageable by breaking them down into simple, understandable steps.
I’m patient, approachable and committed to helping my students succeed. I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them. Most importantly, my goal is to help students become more confident in their own ability and achieve results they can be proud of.

- My approach to tutoring is to first ensure students fully understand the content before putting that knowledge into practice. I believe in completing as many exam questions as possible to build confidence and identify areas for improvement.
- I also focus on analysing exam mark schemes so students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and can tailor their answers to maximise their marks.
