About Eliza
My interest in Chemistry started with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. This fascination led me to pursue an M.Sc in Inorganic Chemistry, gaining expertise in theoretical principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical thinking. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students across multiple levels, helping them progress from uncertainty to mastery through structured, patient, and adaptive instruction. I emphasize clarity, adaptability, and encouragement in teaching. I take time to understand each learner’s thought process, using visual models, analogies, and stepwise explanations to simplify complex topics. I foster a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, and mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities, helping students build confidence and resilience. Outside teaching, I stay actively engaged in Chemistry through experimentation, research, and keeping up with advancements in the field. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness learners develop analytical skills, independence, and confidence. Supporting their intellectual growth is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Chemistry becomes intuitive when students are guided through clear, structured lessons emphasizing understanding over memorization. My sessions cover atomic theory, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, and energy transformations, focusing on analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. I aim to help students build connections between concepts, fostering curiosity and confidence while gradually increasing their knowledge and practical understanding of the subject.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s level. Beginners explore chemical symbols, formula writing, and simple reactions using interactive exercises and visual aids. Intermediate learners study stoichiometry, periodic trends, acids and bases, and reaction types with structured guidance. Advanced learners focus on equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, and complex inorganic reactions, emphasizing accuracy, structured problem-solving strategies, and conceptual understanding. Carefully designed exercises reinforce learning and track progress over time.
Chemistry lessons also foster patience, critical thinking, and independent learning. As learners gain clarity, they approach scientific problems confidently and methodically.
