About Alina
My name is Alina, and I grew up in Ludlow, Massachusetts. After I graduated from high school, I attended the University of New Haven. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in chemistry. While working towards my B.S. I also started working on my Master's degree with the university's 4+1 program. I am set to graduate with my Master of Science in Chemistry in Spring 2027. During my time at university so far, I have worked as a chemistry laboratory assistant for two consecutive years. This job is where my spark for teaching began as I was able to answer questions and guide students throughout various chemistry laboratory work.

My approach as a tutor is to meet every student where they're at. Design lesson plans based on the individual's needs and learn exactly how they learn. I believe it's important to help guide the students exactly how they need, and where to supplement their learning. I am geared towards middle school and early high-school levels.
