About Mina
My passion for chemistry began with a fascination for how molecules interact, chemical reactions occur, and transformations shape the material world. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, equipping me with strong theoretical foundations and practical expertise. Over 11 years of teaching, I have supported students in gaining conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and confidence in both classroom and laboratory settings, ensuring they can approach complex topics systematically and effectively.
I emphasize patience, clarity, and interactive teaching. Many learners initially find abstract chemical concepts, complex calculations, or experimental interpretation challenging, so I break topics into manageable steps, provide practical examples, and encourage active engagement. My approach fosters critical thinking, independent reasoning, and problem-solving skills, building competence and curiosity simultaneously.
Beyond teaching, I stay actively engaged with chemical research, new experimental methods, and pedagogical innovations. This allows me to bring up-to-date knowledge and practical applications into lessons, making them meaningful and engaging. Witnessing students develop confidence, curiosity, and skill in chemistry is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners to master complex concepts while fostering a genuine appreciation for the subject remains the most fulfilling aspect of my work as a chemistry educator.
