Chemistry PhD student currently in my write up phase of my thesis entitled: "Stimuli Responsive Hyperbranched Polymers for Anti-cancer Drug Delivery Synthesized Via RAFT Polymerization". I have a wide range of teaching experience since undertaking my PhD since 2016. This includes but is not limited to: 1-1 tuition with undergraduate students for exam prep, group lab based facilitating and group tutorials and seminars.

My tutoring methodology changes pupil to pupil. However, I find the best way to ensure that the student learns is by facilitating them to find the answer themselves. For instance a question by a student such as " How do you work this out?" could be easily explained, but, I have found by facilitating the student to find the answer themselves by replying with such questions as "So what is the question asking?, What information do we have? and What do we need to make clear for us to answer our question?". This allows the student to break complex issues into small chunks that makes tough situations less daunting for them.
