About James
Hello! My name is James, I study Chemistry (MSc) at the University of Southampton. I have a strong passion for teaching, and will do my absolute best in order to help you succeed and excel in Science. My primary area of expertise is of course chemistry, but I have also studied A-Level physics, and have a strong understanding of the GCSE biology curriculum, having focused on bio-organic modules over the course of my degree. I know how much having a friendly and supportive teacher can make the difference when it comes to learning, I'd love nothing more than to help students build confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and achieve their target grades.

I offer personalised online tutoring in GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry, tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons focus on building strong conceptual understanding, exam technique, and problem-solving skills to boost confidence and understanding. I use diagrams and visuals, along with real world examples in order to bring science to life. Lessons follow the curriculum but are adapted to suit individual learning styles. Whether you need help grasping difficult concepts or want to refine your exam technique, I’ll provide supportive and effective tutoring to help you achieve your goals!
