About Karan

I am a chemistry student at Carnegie Mellon University. I have taken IB HL chemistry in high school and achieved a score of 7 out of 7. At CMU, I have completed Honors Chemistry, a rigorous introductory course covering the fundamentals of chemistry, with an A grade.

About the lesson

I am geared toward teaching high school chemistry courses, whether introductory or AP. My classes are very flexible - they can explain the content of a particular topic or offer practice problems, at the student's request. I have a two-way approach to ensure understanding: 1) The ability to apply concepts to unfamiliar situations, and 2) The ability to "teach" a concept coherently.
